Storm in a Tea Cup

It's so exciting when we start to get new ranges in from some of our favourite suppliers. Here are the first few items from the new Disaster Designs ranges Sea Breeze and SongBird. As always they are adorned with beautiful prints and illustrations. Sea Breeze is a summery nautical themed illustration with pirate boats and compass's ahoy. Whilst SongBird mixes ecclectic love letters and vintage illustrations to create a cute feminine print. Can't wait to see what else we get in!!

We're all huge fans of  Burts Bees at Bloomsbury, all with our own personal favourites. With all the natural ingredients every product is a winner but now for those of us with more delicate skin Burts has produced a brand new Sensitive range. We have the eye cream, night cream, daily moisturiser and facial cleanser up on-line now! Each product is fragrance free and proven to help moisturise and cleanse skin without over drying or causing irritation or redness.

Paul Smith Olympic Stamps

Paul Smith has created some really beautifully graphic stamps for the London 2012 Olympics. They have been created specifically for the Isle of Man post office, home of Olympic winning cyclist Mark Cavendish, and it's no big secret what a fan of cycling Mr Smith is.

The designers at Fred always come up with quirky, functional designs and this drinking carafe is no exception. Elegantly hand blown glass with a russian doll design etched on the outside will keep your thirst quenched by your bedside.

Book Pillar

This very impressive tower of books is on display at the Ford's Theatre Centre for Education and Leadership in Washington DC. The pillar is made completely from books on Abraham Lincoln. Pretty inspiring stacking!

Canteen Utility Chairs

These canteen utility chairs are inspired by the post-war school chairs. Easy stacking, functional and available in 5 bright powder coated colour's they are suitable as a desk chair or round the dining table. Made from a steel frame and a pressed beech plywood seat they are lightweight and comfortable. We wouldn't be satisfied with just one colour!

We have some more new chairs in, these bright vintage wedding chairs have come all the way over from Java. Each one has aged in it's own unique way and feel they have a story to tell. In a gorgeous vivid turquoise and individual markings on the backs they could brighten a patio or kitchen table beautifully.

Louis Ghost Chairs

There is currently a beautiful video piece on at the Holburne Museum by artist Simon Martin about the Louis Ghost chair. Trailing the history from the original conception and craftsmanship of the chair to the re-incarnation by Philippe Starck for Kartell and the plastic high-tech manufacture of the chair. On until 15th April.
