Wimbledon!

We are getting pretty excited here at Bloomsbury Bristol with all the Wimbledon action going on here in the square at the moment. We have a Wimbledon themed Quakers Friars! complete with a giant strawberry selling gorgeous freshly picked strawberrys!

You can catch every gripping set and serve from the comfort of a deckchair in the outdoor grass area, enjoy traditional fresh strawberries everyday and mouth-watering local produce from the weekly Food Market each Saturday. Or sip a well deserved glass of Pimms!

On a serious note, Venus, can I borrow your amazing jumpsuit??

coffee & cake!!

I've just made this delicious blueberry crumble loaf from the new Hummingbird Bakery book 'Cake Days'. I'm so pleased with it, not only did it come out looking like the pictures it tastes amazing (i did have two pieces just to make sure!!!).
