Out with the old. In with the new.

Those of you who have recently visited our shop on New Bond Street may have noticed a few changes. The main one being our beautiful new downstairs area, those who haven't made a visit lately really should as the whole shop has had a facelift. There is now a whole new floor of goodies to explore and keep you inspired. So we can now squeeze in twice as many gorgeous jewellery collections, twice as many cute night lights (look at the super cute squirrel below!!) and twice as many perfect gift ideas. Ally Capellino New Season

Ally Capellino is everywhere at the minute with articles in the Telegraph and items styled in Men's Health and the Observer magazine, and we're not surprised. The new season bags and purses are just amazing. Once again style and function are effortlessly married to form beautiful classic pieces which will not only be on trend this season but will serve you well for many more to come!

My personal fav's are Lorraine in gorgeous bright red and Kelly in brown!

Lego!!!

Wow! We LOVE Lego here at Bloomsbury and I am super excited at this concept dreamt up by Access Agency. They plan to build GIANT Lego sculptures as a 'street-level promotion' for our most loved childhood brand.

3 parts chilled lemonade

A handfull of fresh sliced strawberrys

and 1 sliced & squeezed lime

Pour over crushed ice and serve.

Wimbledon!

We are getting pretty excited here at Bloomsbury Bristol with all the Wimbledon action going on here in the square at the moment. We have a Wimbledon themed Quakers Friars! complete with a giant strawberry selling gorgeous freshly picked strawberrys!

You can catch every gripping set and serve from the comfort of a deckchair in the outdoor grass area, enjoy traditional fresh strawberries everyday and mouth-watering local produce from the weekly Food Market each Saturday. Or sip a well deserved glass of Pimms!

Drink Lego

coffee & cake!!

I've just made this delicious blueberry crumble loaf from the new Hummingbird Bakery book 'Cake Days'. I'm so pleased with it, not only did it come out looking like the pictures it tastes amazing (i did have two pieces just to make sure!!!).

New Hirst Sculpture in Bristol

On my way to the shop i managed to catch a glimpse of the new Damien Hirst sculpture 'Charity' being lifted into place at the RWA. And then on my way back she was serenely looking out over the Victoria Room fountains.

Lavender Bods

We have just received brand new colours of our popular Lavender Bods in store. Hand knitted stripey wool bods with button eyes filled with lavender. Pop these cute bods around your home to keep everything smelling fresh like lavender!

The adventures of Tin Tin

December sees the release of Steven Speilberg's film The Adventures of Tin Tin, but we just can't wait that long! The 3D film follows Tin Tin on his adventures looking for 'The Secret of the Unicorn'. Starring Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig and Simon Pegg - it should be a treat for all fans!

Lego storage bricks

The new giant (and teeny tiny) lego storage bricks have gotten all of us in a whirl in the shop. Tidying up has never been so cool - or colourful. The bricks are available in a range of colours and sizes, all faithful to the legendary building bricks. We also have drinks bottles and lunch boxes that can have tiny inserts.
