AW13 Ally Capellino has arrived

Ally Capellino is one our great treasures at Bloomsbury & Co, we love the understated simplicity and functionality of every item. From launching her first womenswear collection in 1980 Ally has has stayed true to her Britishness and now has two shops of her own. Going back to her fashion accessory roots her bags, wallets, purses and belts have won her many fans. With little, to no excessive embellishments and only subtle logo's and names placed keenly away from sight, her bags are a breath of fresh air in what can be a brand competition. Classic styles that you will come back to time and again.
Ally Capellino's AW13 collection takes on some really moody colours for this season, giving a great contrast to her light summery collection with its sea blues and mustards. The classic frame bags are all hand made in London with a factory that is unique in the UK. All use beautifully grained Italian veg tanned leather and feature the Ally Capellino Cockerel motif. Bath In Fashion 2013

Bath in Fashion is one the most anticipated fashion events outside of London and this years showcase looks to be better than ever! Taking place between the 13th-21st April there is an exciting line-up of fashion shows, illustration workshops and fashion talks.

Bloomsbury will be showcasing our Paul Smith, Ally Capellino and Beck SonderGaard Spring Summer '13 ranges in the Designer Fashion Show on Friday 19th April held at the Assembly Rooms. Book your tickets here!

So the word is out from Pantone that the colour for 2012 is Tangerine Tango (or 17-1463 for the purists out there). Whilst we're still undecided to go all-out in head-to-toe orange we're all for a bright pop of colour and scouring our shelves we think we can definitely bring some glowing warmth along with effortless design. Teaming just a few items together will freshen up any space or even a new accessory can brighten an old outfit.

Ally Capellino is everywhere at the minute with articles in the Telegraph and items styled in Men's Health and the Observer magazine, and we're not surprised.
